Two new SAXONIA models by A. Lange & Söhne

A. Lange & Söhne complemented the recently revised SAXONIA watch family with two new models. A common characteristic of the classic three-hands watches in the 37-millimeter-sized case of white or red gold is the dial in noble gray. Both versions are available exclusively in the 16 boutiques of A. Lange & Söhne worldwide.

For more than 20 years, the SAXONIA has a permanent place in the repertoire of the Saxon manufactory. The continuously expanded range extends from the elegant two-time watch to models with sophisticated calendar or chronograph functions.

It was not until January that A. Lange & Söhne presented the subtly modified dial design of the SAXONIA family at the Geneva watch fair SIHH. A newly designed mini-case gives the dial a clear and harmonious appearance. Double bar appliqués at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock and minimally extended minute indexes give the line a more striking look.

Both the red gold and the cooler white gold case show the gray dial effectively. Inside, the tried and tested Long-Hand-Lift-Caliber L941.1 works with a maximum range of 45 hours. The elaborately finished clockwork shows all classic features of Lange watchmaking, first of all the hand-engraved balance cock, which makes every specimen unique.
